Jon Harvey
I grew up in Western New York, hunting Eastern whitetails long before I ever set foot in the Arizona desert. In 2005, I moved to Arizona and was fortunate enough to learn under an experienced Arizona guide who opened my eyes to Western hunting and truly showed me the ropes. Between his mentorship and my father, a highly skilled hunter with a deep understanding of game behavior, I was given a strong foundation that shaped the hunter I am today.
My main focus in life has always been God, family, and the outdoors. Outside of that, I’ve spent my career in the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades. Long days, hard work, problem-solving, and taking care of people. Somewhere along the way, I met my business partner and good friend Kyle, and we realized the hunting industry was missing something important: flexibility.
Everything felt cookie-cutter. Huge price tags. Day minimums. One-size-fits-all packages. Most hunters were forced into expensive hunts that didn’t fit their schedule, budget, or goals.
We decided to build something different.
At Drop & Draw Co., we believe your hunt should be built your way, just like we create options for customers every day in the trades. Some hunters want a fully guided experience. Others just need e-scouting help, a game plan, a drop camp, or a few days of boots-on-the-ground guidance. That’s why we offer no-day minimums and customizable hunt packages designed around your budget, experience level, and goals.
And to be clear, if you’re looking strictly for the biggest bull or buck on the mountain and care more about score than the experience, we’re probably not the outfitter for you. Don’t get us wrong, giant animals absolutely exist out here, and there’s always a chance at something special. But what we truly care about is helping the everyday hunter get a real opportunity at a solid, respectable animal and build memories doing it.
We’re here for the guy who works all year, finally gets a few days off, and wants an honest shot at a mule deer, Coues deer, elk, turkey, bear, predator hunt, or simply a great experience in the field. Success looks different to everyone, and we respect that.
When we aren’t working, you’ll usually find us scouting, hunting, glassing, or spending time outdoors with family. This isn’t just a business to us, it’s the lifestyle we love.
Kyle Meche
Growing up in Texas, hunting was more than just a hobby to me. It was a way of life built around faith, family, and time spent outdoors. My passion for hunting started at a young age with whitetail deer hunting and later expanded into waterfowl hunting.
As I got older, I guided several hunts for whitetail deer, various exotics, pigs, and waterfowl. I then moved to Arizona, met my wife, Taeylor, and together our passion for western hunting continued to grow. Since then, we have spent years hunting mule deer, elk, javelina, and turkey across Arizona’s desert and mountain terrain, gaining valuable knowledge and lifelong memories along the way.
By day, I work as an electrician and have spent many years in the trade. The same hard work, honesty, and dedication I bring to my career are the values behind every hunt I guide. When I am not working, you can find me hunting, fishing, camping, riding trails, and spending time with friends and family.
In 2025, Jon and I sat down and looked at outfitted hunts, but we learned that most offered a one-size-fits-all package. We decided the western hunting world needed more, more for the everyday person. That’s why we created Drop and Draw Co. for hunters who want options and customization. Drop and Draw Co. was built on the values of faith, family, and honesty, with one mission in mind: “Built for Hunters, By Hunters.”
My goal is to provide you with a successful and unforgettable hunting experience tailored to your needs. We welcome both experienced hunters and first-time hunters alike. We believe this way of life is worth passing down to the next generation and are committed to helping people get outdoors and create lasting memories. We look forward to assisting you and sharing this way of life with you!
